By simply switching to sleeping at night on a Saturday night, by the time I had to go back to work at midnight on a Sunday, I wouldnt be able to sleep before. In the case of night-shift workers, these disorders are caused by an imbalance in hormone production. Sleeping during the day and working at night increases your risk of obesity and diabetes. One in five US employees works shifts that fall at least partly outside the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, and 1 in 15 works late shifts exclusively. 7) Increases risk of obesity and diabetes.
